Bacterial resistance to antibiotics is one the leading threats for future years. Numerous factors influence the emergence and spread of bacterial resistance. Among these latter, the exposure of bacteria, and especially bacteria of the intestinal microbiota, to antibacterial agents favors the emergence of bacteria that are resistant to these antibiotics, and also to other antibiotics.
